Celebrating Adopt-A-Shelter Dog Month
Benefiting the PWSPCA Spay/Neuter Program

On Saturday, October 20, 2007, the Prince William SPCA held its 2nd Annual Pet Adopt-A-Thon and Fall Festival. An estimated 1,000+ people attended the event and visited the 45 booths featuring animal rescue groups, local shelters and pet-related businesses. Throughout the day, visitors participated in contests, picked out a pumpkin, had their caricature drawn, got a souvenir photo, stopped at the kids' area and and purchased raffle tickets. Earlier in the day, 90 walkers took part in the 2nd Annual Great Pumpkin Dog Walk that promoted spaying and neutering. Thank to everyone who attended, exhibited or sponsored this event.
